WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?
Pickleball is a totally addictive, non-contact paddle sport that can be played by almost all ages and athletic skill levels. It's a great way to socialize and exercise.
The Oliver Pickleball Club is well positioned to accommodate future growth for both new and existing members with four outdoor courts built new last year.
Our club features daily round-robin/level play, as well as clinics for beginners from time to time, skills training and other events that will make members smile, laugh and engage with new friends and neighbours!
The new Board members elected by the membership are as follows:
Rick Sullivan - President
Craig Lindsay - Vice President
Emile Cote - Treasurer
Yvonne Martin - Secretary
Patsy Hartman - Member at Large
The Mandate of The Oliver Pickleball Club is to promote the game of Pickleball in Oliver, BC and surrounding communities.
We are a seasonal outdoor club focused on active adults, many of whom are retired.
We currently are a club comprised of mostly intermediate level players, level 3.0 to 4.0, with a large focus on bringing in new players of all levels and beginners who are interested in a healthy, physically active and socially interactive game while having a lot of
FUN FOR ALL!
Note: Although our Club's emphasis is for intermediate play, we also welcome more advanced players (4.0 and up) to join us for some extra fun and lots of laughs!
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America because it truly is a game for all ages. Our goal is to promote the game of pickleball to all those ADULTS who want to be active and have FUN.

We ask you to self-rate when you sign up for our club. This helps us to match players on a similar skill level. You can change your self-rating at any point. Self-ratings range from 1.0 - 3.9.
Generally, a 1.0 to 3.0 would be considered a beginner or novice; 3.1 - 3.5 is intermediate; and 3.6 to 3.9 is advanced.
We require a tournament rating or club evaluation to play on the 4.0+ level. Please contact us if you are 4.0+ player.
Here are two handy guides to help you with self-rating:
